Wednesday 14 November - West Byfleet
West Byfleet
A balmy Autumn day greeted the 40 Members and guests who left home at the crack of dawn partaking after an absence of 8 years at this Surrey venue.

The Club provided an excellent breakfast and the 2 course carvery after the golf could not be faulted. The Course was in great condition given the recent spells of warm weather and proved a stern test for the vast majority of those taking part.

However this did not prove the case for Peter Jackson who managed to accumulate a magnificent total of 43 points playing off a handicap of 23.Well done Peter - believe that this is the first trophy Peter has won during his membership of the Society.
Runner-up, and some way adrift, was Neville Custance with 32 points. Needles to say the Team winners were Peter, Jim Fry and Tim O'Donovan with 87 points.

Special thanks go to Chris Bell and Brian Mitchinson for all their hard work in organising the prizes and card marking.

We hope to return sometime in the near future.
